Lil Graceland Curtain Call

Jack

DOB: April 24, 2008

Height: 22.5” at 4 days old

Color: gray/brown with a white star

Dam:  SWH Dolly   33” dark brown

Grandsire: EA Bingo   35” dark brown and white spot

Granddam: EA Tabatha   32” dark gray dun

Sire:  Wee Friends Farm All Shook Up    32.5” brown

Granddam:  Wee Friends Farm Lizzy    34” dark brown

Grandsire:   Wee Friends Farm Jackpot   31” brown NLP

Curt is a cute little boy, straight and square with a short body. He has the most gorgeous head, with beautiful eyes and a big white star.  With all the brown in his background the brown is really showing up on his body and ears.

We applaud his sire Shook and his dam Dolly for this handsome little guy.

Shook has been gelded to concentrate on being a performance show donkey and Dolly is being retired as a sweet little pet, hence the name Curtain Call., the appearance of a performer at the end of a performance to receive applause from the audience.

We think Curt has lots of potential for breeding with his nice pedigree, and is show quality with his presence and stance or could be a fun pet with his sweet personality.

Elvis received many curtain calls

DOB: September 24, 2007

Height: 20”

Color: brown with red highlights

Dam: Cobra’s Nina Bonita – 32” Brown with Red highlights

    GrandDam: Cobra’s Martha - Brown

GrandSire:   Cobra’s Red Man – Dark Red

Sire: My World Red Alert-31” Dark Red

GrandDam: My World Red Dream - Dark Red

GrandSire:  My World Buster – Dark Red

ZOOM… this little guy can run, he uses our front pasture for his racetrack, most foals run figure 8’s, this little guy runs very fast back and forth. It took us days to come up with a name because he is so special. We wanted to combine the My World pedigree with the Cobra pedigree and we are not disappointed. Speedway is small and compact with a nice head, excellent straight legs and a great round butt just like his sire. Two great looking dark red grandsires Cobra’s Red Man and My World Buster and a beautiful dam, Cobra’s Nina Bonita and handsome sire, My World Red Alert (owned by Harvey and JoAnn Jordan at Hickory Hill Donkey Farm). He will be retained as a Jr. herdsire, not for sale at this time.

Speedway is a 1968 Elvis film.

What color is this little guy, may not know until next summer.  He was born during the day which hardly ever happens. Pacer has long and very soft hair, a very different texture hair than his half sister Co Star. His dam Miss Clawdy is very protective and we are not able to get as friendly with him as we would like but we work on it several times a day. Pacer is correct with a nice solid build. And we love that cute little star on his forehead.
